Conclusion

During the trip it made me think through about Confucius teachings and what lichengerzhong taugh me,and also those teachers that tour us around commented on my chinese and said that i have improve which made me determine to know more about chinese and improving my speech.Also i learn more about china and realise that its not that bad.

preparations for the trip

It was a few days before the trip and everyone was in a rush as we had to get our winter clothes,improve our chinese and etc. Thank goodness Mr.Loke our principle help us through by telling us what to do and how to take care of ourselves that made me feel glad to have a very caring principle.

The lessons

In Lichengerzhong, we had about 5 lessons and out of the five i like the english lessons as the students were full of energy during that lesson even though it is foreign to them.

My travel mates

At first i thought that other than Guan nan and Afina i might not make other friends but during the first night of supper we sat around the table in the restaurant we chatted and stuffed ourselves silly and from that day onwards most of the travel mates knew my name YIPPIE!! And i feel that travelling with them made me happy and also we are united as one,even though we made some mistakes now and then to Mrs Tan and Ms Kong but we never blamed each other .so i want to say is they're the BEST!

My roommate

The person that shared room with me is the amazing WONG AFINA!!!
She was happy to be my roommate i think....so at the first night in Taoran Hotel was quite a wonderful moment as after we had supper with the other travel mates,we went to our room and snugged in our beds and watched a Hong Kong show called, 'ah wang' and in a few minutes we fell asleep.During the 10 days of staying with her, i felt slightly neater as she is always lecturing about my messiness and how i should be neater. And also i felt that i understood her more.

3rd day in shandong

Our second day to lichengerzhong, when we reached there,we proceed to the classroom for our first lesson.During the lesson the teacher patiently taught us and always stopped now and then to ask if we understand or if we have any question.The lesson was about poetry and he taught us a poem written by a man named wang wei.So after that,we watched the morning exercise and bugged Ms Kong and Mrs Tan to let us jog,they smiled and promised us that the next day we can join the students.Then we went to the music room for a performance by the school,there was dance, Chinese orchestral and martial arts.It was an interesting performance.After that, we went to learn seal carving,it was really hard as you have to carve it firmly and made sure it is straight,after lunch we continued our carving,after our finished product we stamped our surnames on a piece of paper and took photo as Ms Kong suggested,(sorry people i didn't take any photos :C)
quickly we went to do pottery which means we need to get dirty,the teachers gave us clay and told us to use our imagination to turn that clay into something.At first we were stuck then after suggestions we work our way to making our products in the end,we ended up with vases,flowers,animals and etc.Then we left the school at 5 and had dinner then back to hotel to freshen up and had briefing and everyone everyone went back to their room sleepy.
End of Day 3.

5th nov monday '07

As far as could remember, after breakfast we took a bus to licheng erzhong.A school that i imagined to be big and when we reached the school gate the bus suddenly stopped and Guan nan was telling me the reason why it stopped was because it would break the banner that says'welcome chai chee sec.'(in chinese) so quickly got off the bus and there was lots of student jogging in a line.I was really amazed and i ask one of the teachers if it was the all the students. And really it was.WoW.Then we went to the conference room and thats when we met our buddies yippe!=D after that we watched some performance and we had lunch with our buddies i sat with Guan nan and his buddy.Then after lunch my buddy had to go for her afternoon nap,that was also the time we get to tour the school and we were spilt into groups me and afina were with the group and Mrs Tan and our tour guide name was liu yang.She was quite nice and she really go into details about the school and the things we ask her.After that we relaxed for a while and at 5pm we left the school for a welcome dinner party at shandong university.The food was really delicious!!! Anyway after that we went to the mini mart near the hotel.After that we had our reflections and were off to bed =D
